After shooting Gator, the sky became even weirder than the previous couple hours. The sky was soon consumed by these crazy vibrant colors as the sun was setting. I scrambled to find something decent yet as close as possible to put in the foreground of a picture, before the colors fade away.

Incredible colors and perspectives–one of the advantages of experiencing temperamental weather, and then contrasting it with human-made objects.
I like the way you incorporated an empty-looking Valley West and what appears to be a fenced pedestrian bridge over the freeway/I-235 (??)

I wanted to do it this year but didn’t want to embarass myself too. I’ll check out my competition and get a better idea of what they’re looking for and mounting/etc. I’ll then be fully prepared for next year.
